• RTPCR Test & Vaccination
• 72 Hrs Prior with QR code.
• Only fully vaccinated passengers can travel.
• If travellers are vaccinated in India with Covishield, please note that the vaccination certificate must contain the passport number or date of birth. Reference to Aadhar number is not sufficient.
• Persons vaccinated with Covaxin or any other vaccine which is not recognised by the Paul Ehrlich Institute have to carry a negative PCR test report which is not older than 72 hours

• Vaccination
• India is now on the green list for travel to Europe noting that the fully vaccinated
  travellers from India can enter Europe with no restrictions and those travellers who are not
  fully vaccinated only need a pre-departure negative test.
• You are considered fully vaccinated:
• 28 days after one dose of the Janssen vaccine.
• 7 days after the second dose for the other vaccines recognized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) (Pfizer /Comirnaty, Moderna, AstraZeneca /Vaxzevria/ Covishield).
• For people who have received all the required doses of a vaccine authorized by the WHO
  which has not been recognized by the EMA, 7 days after one additional dose of a messenger
  RNA vaccine recognized by the EMA.
• All passengers aged 11 years or more must produce a negative COVID-19 virological test
  report, with the test conducted not more than 48 hours before boarding.
• Fully vaccinated passengers are allowed to travel 14 days after their 2nd dose.

• No Quarantine for children upon arrival.
• Children aged 18 years and below, travelling with fully vaccinated parents, can enter Europe and need not quarantine. However, children aged 16 – 18 years need to submit a negative RT-PCR report at the time of boarding and arrival.

• Quarantine Protocol
• 7 Days Quarantine if tested positive on arrival
• Non vaccinated travelers are not permitted in Netherland
• Unvaccinated visitors from India will need to quarantine for 10 days upon entering Belgium. After 7 days of quarantine, travelers can get a test. If the test is negative, travelers do not need to quarantine further.

• Health Screening
• If one is not vaccinated, they must have a compelling reason to travel.
• Masks are mandatory for each passenger & on collective transportation: ship, rail, coaches,
  and public transportation. Wearing mask is mandatory in public areas if it is not possible the
  respect of the social distance, inside museums, inside hotels, inside supermarkets and inside
  to all buildings open to the public.
• The body temperature cannot exceed 37, 5°C and it can be checked before the entrance to
  all buildings open to the public (airports, stations, museums, supermarkets, restaurants etc.)
• The use of the hand sanitizer dispenser - available in all buildings open to the public – is
  mandatory.

• Social distance
• At least 1.5 meters.
   
• Hotel
• Most hotels are opened or shall start to re-open during summer especially in holidays resorts.
• Situations is more difficult in major cities relying to corporate business congress such as
• Geneva where still 60% of hotels are closed.

• Coach
• Front door should not be used. If social distance cannot be kept in the coach, then passengers are suggested to wear a mask. There is no maximum pax number limit.
• Suggest to refrain from using sedan type for 2 pax and use van type for time being.
• Coaches are disaffected regularly and sanitary gel is available on board.
   
• Touristic Transport
• Mountain trains, cable cars and cruises are now operated. Some with limited schedule till July.
• Masks are compulsory above 12 years old from 6 July 2020.
• All staff wear a mask on board basically.
• Chamonix Mont Blanc is in France, so mask is compulsory in ropeways and touristic trains.

• Public Transport
• Back to normal.
• Masks are compulsory above 12 years old from 6 July 2020.
• All staff wear a mask on board basically.
• International traffic to France, Germany and Austria has been resumed. Traffic to Italy shall re-start by end of June partially. Masks are compulsory after border crossing and leaving Switzerland

• Shops
• All opened, but with client’s number control and respect of social distance as much as possible.
• In Vaud and Jura cantons, compulsory to wear a mask in shops (if more than 10 persons inside in Vaud).

• Restaurants
• No more pax limit per table. Need to keep distance or put partition between tables.
  Standing meal are now permitted.
• Group booking up to 300 pax is possible with distance between tables except in cantons of Basel, Aarau, Solothurn, Lucerne, Valais and Ticino where the limit is now 100 pax.

• Entrance
• Museums and other entrance places are opened, but with client’s number control and respect of social distance as much as possible.

• Food
• Breakfast will be provided at the hotels. The breakfast is usually in a separate dining area of the hotel and is usually a continental breakfast, which will consist of tea, coffee, bread, cereals, fruit and yoghurt.
• Passengers can choose from different diets, including vegetarian, Jain or non-vegetarian (Halal will not always be available) meals. Passengers should advise the tour representative of their preferred diet on day one. The meals are pre-set buffet, and a choice of menu is not available. Meals will be provided with Tap Water only.
• Lunches are usually vegetarian only and are provided outdoors at a service station/rest area where limited, or no seating is available. Lunch is served in a picnic style buffet arrangement. Dinners are usually provided within the hotel or restaurant in a separate dining facility. You should always consult your tour representative if you are not sure of what ingredients a dish contains.

• Hotels

• Not all hotels in this tour will have air-conditioning so you should carry a small portable fan with you especially during the summer months.
• Please also note that not all hotels provide a kettle so if hot water is required for warming milk etc. in the hotel then it is advisable to carry a bottle warmer/kettle as well as a thermos flask. Passengers may also want to carry a small travel iron and hairdryer etc., as many hotel rooms may not have these facilities.
• Some hotels in Europe, especially Switzerland will provide two single beds put together as a Double occupancy room, as this sort of configuration allows the hotel to use a room for multi-use, we do contract with such hotels, and you should be prepared for such eventualities.
• If you use services such as the phone or mini-bar or pay TV whilst in your room, you will have to pay the hotel directly when you check out; these services are not included in your tour cost.
• The maximum occupancy per room on this tour is 3 person(s).

• High Altitude

• You should only make trips to high altitudes if you feel healthy. The following recommendations apply:
• Advanced age is no barrier to high altitude. For blood pressure patients who are well controlled with medication, the altitude is not a concern. Asthmatics can travel to high altitudes without any problems. High-altitude air is less polluted with particles that can cause an asthma attack. Epileptics who are well controlled with medication should be able to negotiate the altitude.
• Pregnant women: There may be a certain risk for pregnancy even without pre-existing diseases over 2500-3000 meters. Caution is therefore advised if in doubt, please consult your doctor in advance.
• Infants: Short-term stays at the mountain tops are unproblematic. Infants and young children are often unable to equalize pressure during descent and are therefore increasingly at risk of ear irritation. Regular swallowing (drinking, sucking on a bottle) during the descent can prevent the occurrence of irritation.
• Because children can chill faster than adults, always pay attention to sufficient protection from the cold at high altitude. Sunglasses and a good sunscreen are necessary on the glaciers!
• High altitude visits not recommended for:
• Lung and heart patients who are already short of breath while at rest or when climbing stairs are advised not to stay at high altitude. Patients with angina pectoris or severely impaired performance with heart enlargement and heart failure should not visit high altitude. Coronary artery disease (angina pectoris) and heart enlargement with medical therapy should not visit high altitude. Patients with a pronounced risk profile for cardiovascular disease (smoker + high blood pressure + diabetes + high blood fats + overweight + occasional chest pain) should consult the doctor before visiting high altitude.
   
• Do not stay at high altitude after having striated muscles or a stroke.

• Visas & Passports

• A passport valid for three months beyond the length of stay and issued within the past 10 years is required by all nationals. Except EU nationals holding a passport or national ID card which is valid for the duration of stay.
• If you hold an Indian, Pakistani, or Bangladesh Passport, you will need to obtain Schengen Visa prior to travelling. Many nationalities do not require Schengen visas, such as British, EU and American nationals. Should you need further clarification, please contact us.

• Weather

• Weather in much of Western Europe tends to be the same as England and is very unpredictable. Regardless of the time of the year, it is advisable to carry an umbrella.
• Temperatures vary from place to place, and it is a good idea to check online for average temperatures for the destination(s) being visited depending on the time of the year.
• On a multi-destination tour, it is likely passengers will travel through various weather fronts; whilst in Switzerland, during excursions to mountain tops passengers may experience temperatures between 0 °c and 2 °c whilst at the same time experience temperatures of over 30 °c whilst they are in France.
• Passengers can be well prepared by ensuring they are carrying appropriate clothing, footwear and accessories. Passengers should also be aware that during the winter months most of the sightseeing will be in the dark as, in Europe, the day becomes dark very early during winter. Passengers should consult with Genius World at the time of booking if they are unsure.

• Wheelchairs

• We will accept lightweight manual wheelchairs for travel, subject to them being capable of being stowed in the luggage hold of the coach.  It is also essential that a family member is also on tour to push their wheelchair. Genius World’s will also request hotels for suitably equipped rooms; however, this is only on a request basis and cannot be guaranteed. It should be noted Mt Titlis & Eiffel Tower is not fully accessible for a wheelchair user. Brussels, Luzern, Lion Monument, Pisa, Rome, Venice and Florence will have cobbled streets, which may not be suitable for wheelchairs.
